Dana is a tough, but fair negotiator, who has successfully handled cases at the trial and appellate level. She counsels clients preparing for marriage regarding prenuptial agreements and those in the divorce process involving separation agreements, custody and visitation, alimony, property division, child support, child and spousal abuse, and post-divorce modifications.
Each divorce is different and Dana’s extensive knowledge regarding the many facets of ending a marriage makes her a great resource for her clients. She dedicates the time needed to understand the specific circumstances of each case and what the client would like to achieve, and then customizes her representation accordingly.
The key to family law representation is finding solutions that protect a client now and in the future. Dana is a skilled professional, who is an accessible advocate, committed to obtaining results.
Dana is also trained as a collaborative family law attorney, is on the Board of the Collaborative Professionals of Baltimore and the Howard County Collaborative Professionals, and is a member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals.
In addition to family law, Dana handles a variety of complex litigation. Dana’s legal experience includes professional malpractice matters; business disputes, including those involving medical practices; partnership disputes; securities litigation; banking litigation; and construction litigation. Her understanding of these various industries has enhanced her skills in divorce proceedings with her clients, who include those in the medical and legal professions.
Dana is a graduate of The Johns Hopkins University and Duke University School of Law. She is a member of the state and federal bars of Maryland, the District of Columbia, and New Jersey. She is an active member of the Maryland Association for Justice, the Baltimore County Bar Association Family Law Committee, and the Baltimore City Bar Association Family Law Committee.
